Paul Simon Public Policy Institute

The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute inspires and promotes constructive policy making, political collegiality, and scholarship in Illinois and across America. Ours is one of America’s truly unique policy institutions, founded in 1997 by one of the 20th century’s most authentic and original political figures, Senator Paul Simon.

While the Institute attracts national leaders and luminaries to our region, we also introduce SIU and our students to the world. Whether we are encouraging politicians to reach across the aisle or creating opportunities for citizens to talk across the divide, the Simon Institute makes connections and sparks progress.

The gift that you make today will go directly to support the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute Endowment. Funds from our primary endowment support every program at the Institute, including the following:

· Nationally Recognized Speakers Series

· Student Internships & Scholarships

· Policy Research & Publication

· Sponsored Events

· Youth Programs & More
