The College of Health and Human Sciences is dedicated to improving lives through education, research, and service. With more than 4,000 students across over 20 programs, CHHS prepares graduates to promote health and well-being, strengthen families and communities, enhance safety, and advance transportation systems that improve quality of life.

• College of Health and Human Sciences Development Fund Provides flexible resources to support strategic priorities, including faculty and staff development, research initiatives, and facility and laboratory enhancements.
• CHHS Student Support Fund Directly assists students through scholarships, emergency aid, and support for books, equipment, and other educational expenses.

Beyond preparing the next generation of professionals, CHHS is also working to increase access to care and services throughout southern Illinois. Through the Community Care and Education Center, the College serves as an interdisciplinary hub that combines clinical services, social support resources, and hands-on training for students pursuing careers in healthcare, behavioral health, and human services.

Join the CHHS Dean’s Club with a $1,000 Gift

The CHHS Dean’s Club honors donors who commit to an annual gift of $1,000 or more. Contributions are divided between the CHHS Development Fund and the CHHS Student Support Fund, directly supporting the Dean’s vision for college and student success. Members receive an annual impact report, invitations to CHHS events throughout the year, and a Dean’s Club lapel pin.
