An investment in the CTE Faculty Development Fund fuels far more than you might imagine.

Previous donors’ contributions have allowed us to

· Bring LinkedIn Learning to the SIU campus so students, staff, and faculty have full access to all of LinkedIn’s library of expert-led courses

· Send CTE staff to technical and annual conferences so they can bring back cutting-edge expertise and improve technology deployment campus wide.

· Develop award-winning programs and launch statewide events like the Illinois Online Higher Education Symposium—now in its second year with over 500 participants expected.

· Support creative, innovative pedagogy, such as partnering with faculty and community artists to showcase art and explore its teaching implications.

· Fund high-impact professional development through the Association of College & University Educators and the Online Learning Consortium.

· Support research grants with a teaching deliverable.

This year, we’re introducing a new incentive program recognizing our most committed faculty with bronze, silver, and gold medals for excellence in teaching and learning.
