The School of Media Arts (SoMA) offers undergraduate BA degrees in Radio, Television, and Digital Media, and in Cinema, as well as a graduate MFA degree in Mass Communication and Media Arts. With areas of study, including cinematic arts, screenwriting, sports media production, animation and game design, and audio arts.
Students begin with two semesters of foundations courses taught by top faculty. The best possible introduction to every area of study. Our faculty and students engage with emerging and traditional media; the still and moving image, screenwriting, audio arts, sound engineering, animation, game design, internet art, VR/AR, 3D fabrication, performance, installation, and the creative use of artificial intelligence (AI).
