
The Black Law Students Association at the SIU Simmons Law School supports African Americans, as well as other minorities, to enter the field of law, be successful, and maintain cultural influences.

- Black Law Student Association (BLSA) Bar Preparation Post-Graduate Financial Assistance Fund: Donations given to this fund will provide support for recent SIU Simmons Law School graduates who have just completed their third year of law school and are studying for the bar exam.
- Thurgood Marshall Award Scholarship Fund: Scholarship selected by the SIU Simmons Law School scholarship committee, given to a member of the Black Law Student Association who exemplifies compassion for others, professionalism, and a strong commitment to equal opportunity and diversity.
- Black Law Student Association Fund: Donations given to this fund will be used to support BLSA RSO efforts including programming, conference travel, and more.
